What is CCS?
The main way families are helped with fees.
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is an Australian Government payment that reduces the cost of approved early childhood education and care. For most families it covers the majority of the daily fee — typically around 75–85%, based on your income and activity.
Because Discovery Nest is a CCS-approved provider, the subsidy is applied directly to your account, so you only ever pay the gap.
How it works

Check your eligibility
Most families using approved care qualify for some level of CCS, based on family income and recognised activity (work, study, volunteering and more).
Claim through myGov
Submit your CCS claim via Services Australia in your myGov account, then confirm your child's enrolment with us.
Subsidy is applied automatically
Once approved, the subsidy is paid directly to Discovery Nest and reduces your out-of-pocket fees — no reimbursement chasing.
